Deciding between perfect and “good enough”
We often counsel clients not to let perfect be the enemy of good. If you want to start tying employee survey results to outcome measures, but don’t have great outcome measures, that doesn’t mean you should give up entirely. Start with what you’ve got and then build on it in the future.
But in other realms, there are times when it’s crucial to strive for perfection, not just good enough. Here’s an interesting exploration of how one might begin differentiating between the two.
