I am the Chief Strategy Officer and Legal Counsel at McBassi & Company, where I’m responsible for all aspects of business development, strategic planning, and contracts. I also work with clients as an HR strategy consultant. Having first entered into the practice of law in 1982, I have nearly four decades of experience serving as the legal and strategic adviser to businesses, educational institutions and non-profit organizations. In my earlier career, I worked at the National Academy of Sciences, the American Institutes for Research, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

I’m the author of many published papers, and the co-author of Breakthrough, Inc. – High Growth Strategies for Entrepreneurial Organizations (Prentice Hall/Financial Times Management). I am a PGA Member and a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Golf Coaches Association of America. I recently served as an advisor to Suzy Whaley, President of the PGA, on diversity and inclusion issues.

I hold a law degree from Georgetown University, an M.P.A. from the University of Texas, a Diploma in Social Sciences from the University of Bristol, and a B.S. in political science from Washington and Lee University.
